Hi Daril,
Your advice worked for indexes. I am able to split the DDL into files and the indexes are in the files. I am still getting the Foreign keys in the Other file. Is there a way to include the alter statements for these as well in the table files. I went thru the options to see if I could get them to be put in the file and was unsuccessful.
Also, in getting the DDL to look the way the DBA wants it to look, I ran the generate with the split option three times. Curiously after the first generate each file by table had create statements repeated in the file. After the second I had three create table statements in each file. When I saved, exited Toad Data Modeler, and then restarted Toad Data Modeler the generate was creating one table.
BTW, this is a very good tool
Thanks
Dave

Hello Dave,
I found case when indexes are generated to Other.sql file. It occur when you change Extension settings of Order of Generated Order. There are options to determine, where indexes will be generated
- After Each Create Table Statement
- After Create Table Section
When you choose After Create Table Section, indexes are generated to Other.sql script, but default is “After Each Create Table Statement”.
Please verify this settings. Go to Generator Form, click to “Detail Settings” tab. There is “Order of Generated Objects” group box. In this box is button “edit”. After click to this button you will get form. Go to second tab Extension (See the picture).
